Missouri-Kentucky ferry closed due to weather

The ferry that shuttles traffic from Dorena, Mo., to Hickman, Ky., will be closed all day today, according to a news release from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

Heavy snow in that area has caused limited visibility on the Mississippi River, leading to the closure. The ferry should reopen at the normal time Tuesday morning, according to the news release.
