A man who went missing during a duck-hunting excursion in Scott County was found dead by search-and-rescue crews Wednesday evening.

Johnston went duck hunting in the area around 2 p.m. Tuesday and has not been seen since. His truck was found in the area on Wednesday morning.

A man who went missing during a duck-hunting excursion in Scott County was found dead by search-and-rescue crews Wednesday evening.

Zackary Johnston, 23, had left home at 2 p.m. Tuesday to go duck hunting, relatives said, but he never came home. His truck was found off Nash Road.

Marsha Johnston, Zackary's mother, said the family began to worry starting at dusk. She added he went out alone.
