Missing boat found near Chester, Ill.
A search for a missing boat on the Mississippi River has ended. The drift boat was found near Chester, Ill., Cape Girardeau fire chief Rick Ennis said. No one was inside the boat when it was found. Chester police are expected to issue a press release later in the day.

Chester police are expected to issue a press release later in the day.
The Cape Girardeau Fire Department was asked by the US Coast Guard around 2:15 a.m. today to assist in the search efforts.
