JACKSON -- Miss Missouri 1996 Kimberly Massaro will be at the Jackson Chamber of Commerce office Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to sign autographs and visit with wellwishers.
Massaro represented the city of Jackson when she was crowned Miss Missouri on June 8, and will represent the state in the Miss America Scholarship Pageant on Sept. 14.
Massaro has a degree in elementary special education from the University of Missouri. After completing her reign as Miss Missouri, she plans to find a teaching position in her specialty of learning disabilities and behavior disorders.
Her community service platform focuses attention on children with learning disorders, particularly attention deficit disorder (ADD) and the effect of those disorders on the family unit.
