MISS AMERICA WILL VISIT HERE ON NOV. 17

Miss America will visit Cape Girardeau next week.

Leanza Cornett, Miss America 1993, will appear at Rust & Martin, 2502 Tanner Drive, from 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 17, as a spokesperson for Home Furnishing Council and at a special fund-raiser reception for the Salvation Army Building Fund from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Cornett, enrolled at Rollins College, Jacksonville, Fla., will conduct a special Home Furnishings Council seminar at Rust & Martin from 2 to 3 p.m., and will be available to meet people and sign autographs from 3 to 4 p.m.

The fund-raiser will also be held at Rust & Martin from 7 to 9 p.m. Cost of the private reception will be $25 per person donation, with wine and hors d'ouvres to be served by the Royal N'Orleans Restaurant.
