The Cape Girardeau County League of Women Voters will sponsor a discussion Thursday night on the impact of new minimum property standards that have been approved by the Cape Girardeau City Council.
Frank Bean will address some of the problems with the standards, Loretta Schneider will discuss why it is needed, and city engineering staff will describe the ordinance and how it will be implemented.
Martha Hamilton, program chairman, encouraged anyone interested to attend.
It will be held at Ponderosa Steak House, with dinner at 6 p.m. and the program at 7.
