MILLENNIUM ESSAY CONTEST WINNERS; LOOKING FORWARD AWARD OF MERIT: WE'LL WAIT AND SEE

I have a lot of worries about the millennium. Like the Y2K bug and scary stuff other people talk about. Some people don't believe any of it, but I am not one of them. I wonder if anyone knows the answers to my questions like what about Y2K bug bothering the banking and government computers and also just ones used at home and school. Is the world going to stop turning? Are more stars going to burn out? Now I think I will just have to wait to experience the millennium coming up!

You know how everyone is like oh what are your New Year's goals? Now right now I am going to tell my millennium goals (now New Year's!). One of my many goals is to do better in school. I hate bad grades, but who doesn't? Also another goal I want to work on is to spend my time wisely on my school work. I am a big bookworm, and I usually have a book that when I start reading it I can't put it down. Some more goals I have involve my friends. I am really talkative to people I know, but when I am around people I don't really know I am kinda shy. So I want to be not so shy around people. I am also really excited to be living during this whole scary (and exciting!) millennium.
