Chaffee man graduates as Army drill sergeant

Sgt. David Paul Little recently graduated from Army Drill Sergeant School at Fort Jackson, S.C. He is the son of Paula and Eric Hicks of Chaffee and Chug and Debbie Little of Cape Girardeau; grandson of Claudia Marion, Betty Hicks, Kathryn Ross, all of Chaffee, and Paul and Janet Bell of Millersville. Little will assume his role as drill sergeant at Fort Jackson, S.C., on Jan. 30. He is a 1998 graduate of Chaffee High School. Little joined the Army in 1998.

Bohnert completes basic training at Lackland base

Air Force Airman 1st Class Nicholas J. Bohnert graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Rose Larose of Perryville. The airman is a 2001 graduate of Perryville High School.

National Guardsman finishes combat training

Army National Guard Pvt. Adam L. Schafer graduated from basic combat military training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. recently. Schafer is the son of William J. and Clara J. Schafer of Cape Girardeau.
