Cape graduate training with Seabees

Brent Humphries recently completed U.S. Navy basic training camp at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. He is now receiving training as a construction electrician with the Navy Seabees at Wichita Falls, Texas. Humphries is a 2004 graduate of Central High School in Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Bill and Dale Humphries of Cape Girardeau.

Perryville grad finishes basic training

Navy Fireman Jacob Berkbuegler, son of Keziah M. Berkbuegler of Perryville, Mo., and Daniel S. Berkbuegler of St. Mary, Mo., recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Berkbuegler is a 2007 graduate of Perry County High School of Perryville, Mo.
