MILDE COKE PLANT ITEMS DISPLAYED

A collection of memorabilia from the Milde Bottling Works-Coca Cola Bottling Company of Jackson was displayed at the Oliver House recently.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sander own the collection of items from the bottling company, which was founded in 1894.

Emanuel Milde founded the Milde Bottling Works as a soda water bottling plant. The Coca-Cola franchise was purchased in 1925, and the business became known as the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Jackson.

Sander worked for the Milde Bottling and Coca-Cola companies.
