Middle East specialist Judith Kipper will speak on March 7 at noon in a Common Hour presentation at Southeast Missouri State University's Academic Auditorium.
The event is open to the public.
Kipper directs the Council on Foreign Relations Middle East Forum.
She is a consultant on international affairs to ABC News and previously was a guest scholar at the Brookings Institution and a resident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute.
Kipper travels frequently to the Middle East, visiting Israel and Arab countries. She also meets regularly with officials and others in Russia and other countries of the former Soviet Union.
She is on the board of Middle East Watch, a human rights organization, and Initiative for Peace and Cooperation in the Middle East.
