A Michigan man was arrested Tuesday by the Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force and Cape Girardeau Police Department following a foot chase. Officers arrested Aaron R. Pollick, 33, in the 500 block of South Middle Street after he ran from them at Bi-State Oil, 612 S. Sprigg St. Police had approached Pollick because he was wanted on charges in Cape Girardeau and Bollinger counties. As they began to approach him, he fled. Cape Girardeau Police Department spokesman Darin Hickey said Pollick also led officials on a foot chase Friday near Highway 74 and Kingshighway. In addition to the pending charges in Cape Girardeau and Bollinger counties, Pollick also has several active warrants in Michigan including robbery, resisting arrest and parole absconding. He is in custody at the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department, awaiting formal charges and extradition to the Michigan.
