ANNA, Ill. - Merle Keith O'Daniel, 76, of Route 1 Anna, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 1992 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
He was born May 13, 1915 in Jacob, son of Conard Edgar O'Daniel and Maud Worthen.
He owned and operated Anna Sheet Metal Works for over 40 years before retiring.

O'Daniel married the former Ester Kupfer on March 28, 1936 at Murphysboro. She survives.
Also surviving are a son, Leon M. O'Daniel, of Anna; a brother, Cecil O'Daniel of Greene, Maine; sisters Eloise Lee of Charlotte, N.C., Elwanda Cole of Hampton, Va., and Audrey Franklin of Murphysboro.
Surviving as well are three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A brother and a sister preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Jimmy Dace officiating. There will be no visitation.
