MENDED HEARTS WILL MEET AT 7 TONIGHT

The Cape Girardeau Chapter of The Mended Hearts will holds its annual reunion for heart patients tonight at the Drury Lodge.

This year's reunion will feature a special presentation a "heart to heart talk" sponsored by Southeast Missouri Hospital's Regional Heart Center.

The special program, which is free and open to former and present heart patients and the public, begins at 7 p.m.

Participating in a panel discussion on the latest techniques in cardiovascular medicine will be the Regional Heart Center's cardiovascular surgeons, Cape Girardeau cardiologists and the Regional Heart Center coordinator from Southeast Missouri Hospital.

Participants are encouraged to bring along questions to ask the panel.

Children are also welcome at the program. While the adult program is in progress, elementary-age youngsters may take part in a child-oriented educational activity.
