Ahumada works at a chicken-processing plant and said he plans to "try to find a nice mountain home and stay there."

Lottery officials said Ahumada bought his winning ticket for the July 31 drawing at Rio Alce convenience store in Noel. He let the computer pick the winning numbers.

Officials said Ahumada's jackpot was the 427th ticket worth $1 million or more sold in Missouri since the Lottery was started in 1986.
