PATTON -- Missouri State Auditor Margaret Kelly has scheduled a public meeting for 7 p.m. March 30 at the Meadow Heights School to deliver a report on a state audit of the school district.
Members of the auditor's staff will discuss the findings and recommendations contained in the report, and answer questions about it.
The office began the school district audit after receiving a petition from citizens requesting one be done.
Missouri law requires the state auditor to conduct an audit of any political subdivision if requested to do so by enough qualified voters in the political subdivision. The law also requires the entity being audited to pay for the audit.
