WASHINGTON -- A new poll shows Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain running about even in Missouri.
The CNN/Time/Opinion Research poll of 744 likely Missouri voters had Obama at 49 percent and McCain at 48 percent.
The poll, conducted Sunday through Tuesday, has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
The results are similar to a St. Louis Post-Dispatch/KMOV poll last week that showed Obama pulling even with McCain in the state.
