The Marshall family reunion was held recently at the Christian Mission Church in Benton, Mo. The theme of the reunion was "Building Blocks of the Marshall Family," and it was attended by 57 people. The theme of the recently held Marshall family reunion was "Building Blocks of the Marshall Family." Eight siblings of the 13 children of Edward J. and Sallie Byrd Marshall came forward to describe special attributes provided by their parents or interesting and humorous incidents in their lives. All 13 children were represented in this commemorative memorial; nine are still living, with Edward Marshall of Wilson, Ark. unable to attend.

Family members and friends came from Ala., Wis., St. Louis, Bridgeton, St. Charles, Maryland Heights, Wentzville, Florissant, Miss., Ga., Kan., Arnold and local areas. Altogether 57 were in attendance. Local friends and family members included John and Liz Marshall of Benton; Jane and Tom Gaffigen of Cape Girardeau; Kathy, Danny, Chris and Katelyn Menz of New Hamburg; Faith Welker, Arnold, Mark, Beth and Ryan Marshall of Gordonville; Don and Linda Marshall of Jackson. Guests included Mert Parks Patterson of Cape Girardeau and Mary and Dolan Rogers of Sikeston.
