The Southeast Missouri State University Symphonic Wind Ensemble will join Southeast's Golden Eagles Marching Band for an evening of music Nov. 17.

The symphonic wind ensemble will open the concert at 8 p.m. in Academic Auditorium with English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams' "Toccata Marziale." It will be contrasted by two settings of British fold music by Australian-born composer Percy Granger.

The ensemble will perform other lighter selections as well, including marches.

The Golden Eagles will musically create some of the most memorable moments of this year's football game half-time performances.

Dr. Robert Gifford directs the Symphonic Wind Ensemble. Barry Bernhardt directs the marching band.

Admission will be charged.
