Status of Cape Girardeau building permits

Three permits have been taken off the monthly status report on new buildings, additions and remodeling for Cape Girardeau.

Permits requests are left on the status report from six months to a year.

New buildings

* Project 2001 Partners, 8 S. Silver Springs Road, new building, 3/26/01; checked address, sent copy to fire department, 3/26/01; received comments from fire department, 3/9/01.

* McDonald's Restaurant, 1925 Broadway, new building, 3/21/01; specifications and structural calculations, not plans, 3/21/01; received plans, 3/22/01; plans need to be properly sealed, signed and dated, 3/26/01; received plans properly sealed, signed and dated, 3/28/01.

* Silver Springs Business Center, 837 Enterprise, new building, 3/12/01; need address, 3;12/01; plans submitted to fire department, 3/13/01.

* Carpenters District Council, 827 Enterprise St., new building, 2/23/01; plans withdrawn to be sealed, 3/13/01; sealed plans submitted, 3/16/01.

* Cape Public Senior High School, preliminary plans, South Silver Springs Road, 8/16/2000; preliminary review meeting, 10/27/00; new plans, 1/26/01; revisions, 2/5/01; letter sent, 3/8/01 ; revisions, 3/26/01; permit ready, 3/28/01.

* Jeff Maurer, storage units, 73 N.
