BOLLINGER COUNTY, Mo. -- A Marble Hill man was injured in a single-vehicle accident Saturday evening near Patton, Mo.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 8:48 p.m. five miles south of Patton. John P. Browning, 57, was driving his 1996 Chevrolet southbound on Route M when he failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a ditch and fence.
Browning was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, where he was treated for serious injuries.
