A Marble Hill, Mo., man sustained moderate injuries Saturday morning when the vehicle he was riding in ran off the road into a ditch, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported. John R. Renicker, 51, was taken to Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau following the accident at the intersection of Highway 34 and Route OO. Renicker was riding westbound in a 2000 Ford driven by Bernice A. Bain, 66, of Marble Hill, at about 6:30 a.m. when it ran off the road into a ditch as Bain was attempting to make a left turn. Bain was not injured.
