MANURACTURERS HAVE UNTIL JAN. 3O FOR FEATURE ON QVC

Missouri manufacturers interested in being featured on a special broadcast of QVC cable shopping network have until Jan. 30 to apply.

The deadline has been extended from Jan. 15.

The broadcast is part of QVC's "Quest for America's Best" tour. Products unique to each state are being featured. Missouri's broadcast is set for May 13.

A recent broadcast from New Mexico sold every product vendors showcased, some in a matter of minutes.

Products considered by QVC must fall into the categories of housewares, home furnishings, automotive, gourmet foods, jewelry, health and fitness, beauty products or apparel and accessories.

Products must be made in the United States, not distributed nationally, have a retail value of at least $15 and must be UPS shippable.

QVC doesn't sell junior apparel, furs, guns, subscriptions, personalized products or service products.
