FARMINGTON, Mo. (AP) - An eastern Missouri man is dead after being hit by a car while walking in a highway traffic lane. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 51-year-old Bryan Johnston of Park Hills died Tuesday night. The patrol says Johnson was in the southbound lane of U.S. 61 in Farmington when he was struck by a car and knocked to the ground. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The 18-year-old driver of the car was not hurt.
