Man stabbed in Oran bar fight

ORAN, Mo. — An altercation at an Oran bar Thursday night led to one man hospitalized for knife wounds, according to Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter.

Two men became embroiled in an argument at Kelsey's Bar in Oran, and one apparently stabbed to other.

The stabbing victim was transported to a local hospital and underwent surgery for his injuries, Walter said.

The suspect fled the scene before deputies arrived, but early information suggests he is an Oran resident, Walter said.
