Man injured in Scott County crash
A Cape Girardeau man was injured in a one-vehicle accident Sunday on Route P in Perkins, Mo., according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash log report. The accident occurred at 1:30 p.m. in Scott County when Michael G. McCrate, 90, driving a 2010 Dodge Ram, fell asleep, ran off the road and struck a tree and a telephone junction box, the report said.
