LANCASTER, Pa. -- A Pennsylvania man has been jailed for stealing a $4.49 bottle of Advil because it was the 12th time he's been convicted of shoplifting. A Lancaster County jury convicted David Springer, 51, in June of taking the Advil from a Giant store last year. He was charged with a felony because of previous retail-theft convictions. Police said Springer stole the pills by stashing the bottle in his pocket, even though he paid for other items that day...
