MAN DIES IN ONE-VEHICLE ACCIDENT

STE. GENEVIEVE -- A man died in a one-car accident Thursday afternoon, the state Highway Patrol said.

Rodney Clark, 34, of Ste. Genevieve, was driving his 1998 Dodge pickup west on Route B, a half a mile east of Maddin Creek Road, when the accident occurred.

At about 3:50 p.m., Clark's pickup veered off the right side of the road, struck a drain culvert and overturned. Clark was thrown from the vehicle, the Highway Patrol said.
