A 19-year-old man was arrested after allegedly selling a controlled substance to an undercover police officer in the parking lot of Scott City School.
Keith Totty of Chaffee, Mo., was arrested Tuesday after a joint investigation by the Scott City Police Department and the Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force.
The Scott County Prosecuting Attorney's Office charged him with a class A felony for distribution of a controlled substance within 2,000 feet of a school. The charge carries a sentence of up to 30 years. Totty's bond was set at $15,000.
