A Perryville, Missouri, man was arrested by Perry County sheriff’s deputies Thursday and charged with several counts in Bollinger County related to the alleged molestation of a 10-year-old girl.
Travis Perry Davis, 35, was charged with first-degree statutory sodomy, first-degree child molestation and sexual misconduct involving a child under 15 years old.
Davis’ bond was set at $75,000, cash only.
The victim was interviewed at Beacon Health Center on Wednesday and said she lived with Davis in Perry and Bollinger counties — most recently in Bollinger County, according to the probable-cause affidavit filed by Bollinger County sheriff’s Sgt. Michael Henson.
The victim said the abuse began when she was 5 years old, Henson wrote. She said Davis performed sexual acts on her, and he made her perform sexual acts on him, most recently Monday when her mother left for work, according to the affidavit.
Earlier, she described Davis forcing her into intercourse, Henson wrote.
