BENTON, Mo. -- A Vanduser, Missouri, man is in jail after an alleged domestic assault.
John K. Wallace, 22, is charged with felony second-degree domestic assault.
On Wednesday, deputies responded to a 911 report in Vanduser of an assault. Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter said when deputies arrived, they found the victim "bleeding from the top of his head."
"The victim stated Wallace, who is his son, had come to his house and started an argument," Walter stated in a news release. "The victim stated he went inside, and Wallace followed him. Wallace then struck the victim in the head with a blunt object."
The victim had a two-inch laceration to the top of his head that required seven stitches.
When deputies found Wallace, he had blood on him, Walter reported. Wallace was arrested and taken to the Scott County Jail.
