LYME DISEASE SUPPORT GROUP WILL MEET

A representative of the Missouri Department of Health will be guest speaker at the Lyme Disease Self-Help Support Group meeting Tuesday. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Harrison Room at Southeast Missouri Health.

The topic for Sue Tippen of the State Department of Health will be "Update on Statewide Efforts on Lyme Disease."

Support group coordinator Linda Wessel said the meeting is open to Lyme disease patients, their families and individuals who are interested in the tick-borne illness. Sponsors for the group are Southeast Missouri Hospital and IV Care.
