The Missouri Department of Conservation's Day on the River, originally scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Red Star access point has been moved due to low river levels, the department announced in a release Wednesday. The event will now take place at the Cape Girardeau Riverfront on the same day and time. "Families will enjoy boat rides, live aquatic creature displays, and other river related activities," department naturalist Angela Pierce said.
