Louisiana woman seriously injured in Scott County accident
Toni L. Dodson, 27, of Boyce, La., was seriously injured after the car she was driving crossed the median and struck a guard rail on Interstate 55 six miles north of Sikeston, Mo.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Dodson was traveling northbound at 5:20 a.m. Thursday morning when she apparently fell asleep.
Dodson was taken by ambulance to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston with serious injuries. She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of accident.
