The Christian Youth Association's "Mega Lockout" is a tradition for area youth.
The lockout will begin tonight at 9 at the Southeast Missouri State University Recreation Center.
"It's a lockout because we're locked out of everything except the SEMO rec center," said Phillip Roop, youth pastor at Bethel Assembly Church.
Members of youth groups sponsored by area churches can attend the lockout.
A Velcro "Spider Web," bungee run and "Bouncy Boxing" are some of the activities planned for the evening. Xtreme Productions from Oklahoma City will present a multimedia program at 10:30 p.m.
Tickets are $10 and about 800 high school students are expected. The fee includes bowling, pizza and breakfast Saturday morning.
For more information or tickets, contact Roop at 335-5531.
