LOCAL UPDATE: OPEN AUDITION FOR RIVER CITY PLAYERS

Open auditions for the River City Players' February production of Peg Kehret's comedy "Let Him Sleep Until It's Time for His Funeral" will be held on December 8 and 9 at 7 p.m. in the Port Cape Girardeau Restaurant.

The River City Players are casting for three males, two females and one female teenager. Auditioning parties should arrive at the restaurant, located at 19 North Water Street in Cape Girardeau, no later than 7 p.m. and be prepared to cold-read from the script.

The play is being directed by Ann Swanson of Jackson and will open on Feb. 12 with additional showdates of Feb. 13, 14, 19 and 20.
