SCOTT CITY -- A teacher at St. Joseph School in Scott City and her students won in the NASA and National Science Teachers Association Space Science Student Involvement Program.
Teacher Rhonda Dunham encouraged her students to participate.
Students Andrew Blattel, Terry Enderle and Brandon Little were named second place state winners in the elementary division of the future aircraft/spacecraft design competition. Students David Enderle, Scott Johnston and Ryan Oller were awarded third place in the same contest. Tara Phillips won second place stat winner in the elementary division of the Interplanetary Art Competition.
At the junior level, the third place state winner in the Mission to Planet Earth Project went to Travis Burger, Jeremy Enderle and Nick Spantgos.
