LOCAL RESIDENTS DELEGATES TO TPA STATE CONVENTION

A number of local residents attended the Travelers Protective Association state convention.

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Henley and Clyde and David Wallis attended from Cape Girardeau. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Hartle, Leon Dickerson, Norman Sebastian and Perry Grindstaff attended from Jackson.

Travelers Protective Association is a nationwide fraternal organization dedicated to providing traffic safety to children of the United State. The organization also provides assistance to the deaf and hearing impaired.

The local post will honor student safety patrol volunteers with a picnic May 23 at 1 p.m. at Arena Park.
