The heroes, who will not be identified until the ceremony, are civilians. One hero is a boy who saved his brother's life, and the other two were involved in Mississippi River rescues.

The ceremony, which will be at 3:30 p.m. at Fire Station No. 1 at Sprigg and Independence, is open to the public.
