Local companies take part in job fair

About 30 local companies will meet with job applicants during the Cape Girardeau Area Career Fair from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Osage Centre. The career fair, sponsored by the Workforce Investment Board of Southeast Missouri, city of Cape Girardeau, Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce and Cape Girardeau Area Magnet.
The following companies are participating: Pajco, Inc, Yellowbook360, Avon Products Inc., Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, Withers Broadcasting, Organo Gold, Frito-Lay Inc., Hendrickson Business Advisors and Faith Perceptions, Mingo Job Corps CCC, Macy's, Viking-Cives Midwest, Elite Travel Inc., the Missouri Department of Corrections, Saint Francis Medical Center, Ferguson Medical Group, Aflac, Exel, Sam's Club, Kelly Services, Manpower, Workforce Employment Solutions, NARS, Mers/Goodwill, Montgomery Bank, Modern Woodmen of America, Bankers Life and Casualty, CGB, Missouri State Highway Patrol, KBSI-TV / WDKA-TV and the City of Cape Girardeau.
