FRUITLAND, Mo. -- Tuesday's Fruitland Livestock Auction results: Receipts: 341. Last week 538. There wasn't enough feeders this week to test the market, however, there were undertones of a steady to 2.00 weaker market on a less than average quality in the offering. Slaughter cows sold steady and bulls sold 1.00 higher; Demand and supply light. Cows made up approximately 27 percent of the run, 73 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 60 percent of the offering and 40 percent heifers. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 19 percent.

FEEDER STEERS: Medium and Large 1: 300-350 lbs 102.00-110.00; pkg 460 lbs 96.00. Medium and Large 1-2: 300-400 lbs 91.00-97.50; 400-500 lbs 83.00-91.00; 500-550 lbs 85.00-89.50; 600-700 lbs 70.00-79.00; 700-800 lbs 67.50-71.50. Medium and Large 2: 350-400 lbs 82.00-84.50; 475-500 lbs 74.00-82.00; 500-600 lbs 70.25-78.50.

FEEDER HEIFERS: Medium and Large 1-2: 300-400 lbs 80.25-90.50;400-500 lbs 77.00-85.00; 500-600 lbs 76.00-81.50; 600-650 lbs 66.50-78.00.

SLAUGHTER COWS: Breaking: 75-80 percent lean, 37.00-40.50 bulk; Boning: 80-85 percent lean, 38.50-42.25, up to 45.50 dressing, 35.00 low dressing; Lean: 85-90 percent lean, 30.00-31.25 bulk;

SLAUGHTER BULLS: Yield grade 1-2: 1625-1805 lbs; bulk 52.25-53.00; high dressing 54.25.

REPLACEMENT COWS: Medium and Large 1-2: 3-7 yrs 1010-1320 lbs second and third stage 630.00-710.00. Eight years to short and solid mouth second and third stage 530.00-575.00.

COW-CALF PAIRS: Medium and Large 1-2: 3-7 yrs, 930-1275 lbs with calves from new born to 300 lbs 730.00-900.00 per pair; 8 years to short and solid mouth 620.00-710.00 per pair.

Patton Livestock

PATTON, Mo. -- Monday's Patton Livestock Auction results: Cattle receipts 780. Compared to a week ago: 286. Compared to last week steers sold steady and heifers sold steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold and bulls sold steady; Demand moderate, supply light. Cows made up approximately 8 percent of the run, 92 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 54 percent of the offering and 46 percent heifers. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 33 percent.
