Cows made up approximately 22 percent of the run, feeders 78 percent.

Steers made up approximately 64 percent of the offering, 3 percent Holsteins and 33 percent heifers. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 22 percent.

Patton Livestock PATTON, Mo. -- On Monday. Receipts, 1531; last week, no sale; last year, 959. Due to Labor Day there was no sale last week to compare a trend to, however compared to two weeks ago steers and heifers sold 3.00-5.00 higher in the high quality feeders with undertones of weakness in the poorer quality offerings. Slaughter cows sold 1.00-2.00 lower, slaughter bulls 1.00 higher. Cows made up approximately 8 percent of the run, 92 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 52 percent of the offering, and 48 percent heifers. Offering over 600 lbs totaled around 21 percent.
