PATTON, Mo., -- Patton Junction Livestock Auction Monday. Receipts, 1,382; week ago, 1,670; last year, 1,613. Compared to last week 400-600 lbs steers and heifers sold steady to 2.00 higher, the rest of feeder offering sold 2.00-3.00 lower. The over all quality of the bulk of the offering was less than in past sales. Slaughter cows and bulls sold 2.00 lower; Demand and supply moderate. Cows and bulls made up approximately 7 percent of the run, 93 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 54 percent of the offering and 46 percent heifers. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 16 percent.

Feeder steers: Medium and Large 1-2 250-300 lbs 90.00-100.00; 300-400 lbs 87.00-96.00; 400-500 lbs 85.00-95.00; 500-600 lbs 80.50-89.50; 600-700 lbs 73.50-82.00; 700-750 lbs 76.00-80.50; pkg 810 lbs 75.50.
