Live SALT memorial video available online

The Southeast Missourian will stream live video of the dedication ceremony for a monument to fallen law enforcement officers starting at 10 a.m. today at www.semissourian.com. The event will take place at the Conservation Campus at Cape County Park North. The event is organized by the local group Seniors and Lawmen Together. Bill Adams, a retired law enforcement officer who worked on the Missouri State Highway Patrol, is the keynote speaker. The monument includes the names of 47 officers from Southeast Missouri who have died in the line of duty.
