The Cape Girardeau Noon Lions Club has offered a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for committing the recent string of robberies and burglaries involving the city's elderly.

This brings the total to $1,000 in reward money now available. Earlier this summer, the Southeast Missourian offered a $500 reward for the same information.
