Like father, like son.

Leonard Langston had a goal for his son.

"When Terry (Langston) started work in the printing division of Concord Publishing more than 20 years ago, I was hopeful that some day, he would assume my position," said the elder Langston, who is in charge of web press production.

Terry went a step further. He is now plant manager of the web/insert division of Concord.

"He's (Terry) my boss now," said a proud Leonard Langston, who is still in charge of web production. "That's okay with me. We've worked together since he was old enough to work. We've always talked about things. This is something I've always hoped for that he would eventually become the boss."

"It's something a little different," said the younger Langston. "However, I don't see it as being too much different as to how we'll work. Dad will still have his present job in web press."

Terry Langston worked part-time under his father while in high school and went to full-time status after graduation.

"I've been with the company more than 20 years," he said. "My father has been a good teacher. We'll still be discussing things at the office."

Leonard has been involved with Concord Publishing more than 20 years. "I've been here as long as the owner of company," he said. "I worked with Craftsmen Printing and Office Supply before Gary Rust purchased the printing division of that company." He was placed in charge of the web division during the early 1970s.
