SEMO Lifesavers will sponsor its annual prayer chain from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Cemetery of Innocents just off Siemers Drive and bordering Interstate 55.

Individuals will gather to pray for the unborn, the elderly and the helpless, and to pray for an end to abortion.

The organization is also sponsoring its fifth annual youth lock-in for students in grades 7 to 9. The lock-in is Oct. 17 at the Bavarian Halle in Fruitland. Parents are invited to join their children for pizza at 6 p.m.
