A state license is also required to operate a fireworks stand. A state license can be obtained by contacting the State Division of Fire Safety, P.O. Box 844, Jefferson City, Mo., 65102.

Fireworks stands can be open in the county until July 10 and from Dec. 10 to Jan. 5.

However, each incorporated town within the county may have its own local ordinance.
