"2001 Places to Go" is the theme for the statewide Missouri youth summer library program and Riverside Regional Library will sponsor the program.
This summer, children ages preschool to school age and their families are encouraged to travel to countless destinations, both far and near, through books. Children may begin the journey on June 5 and keep reading through the summer.
Children who complete the program's reading requirements will receive a certificate signed by the governor of Missouri, a food coupon and a paperback book.
"2001 Places to Go" will include storytimes, programs and suggestions for fun-filled family activities.
Riverside Regional Library will have reading adventures for entire family.
Reading will be the passport to discover new places this summer, and children and parents can hop aboard and join the fun at the library.
