LEUKEMIA SOCIETY HOSTS WALK-A-THON SATURDAY

The Leukemia Society's Walk-a-Thon will be held Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon at Cape Girardeau County Park North.

Chester McCain is chairman of the event and the Town and Country Extension Club is co-chairman.

To participate, call McCain at 335-4146 or the club at 243-5570.

Sponsor forms may be obtained at the county park, Ross Furniture, the Cash-Book Journal newspaper and Dairy Queen.

A picnic will be held following the walk with food and drinks donated by Pepsi, Coca Cola, Schnucks and Town and Country Grocery Store.
